The staff of the department consists of well-known and merited psychologists of Armenia. At the sessions of the chair the teaching programs are discussed and the themes of term papers and degree researches are confirmed. Special attention is paid to the work with young inexperienced teachers. The teachers of the department organize open lessons, scientific conferences, discussions of articles. The managers of the university support young psychologists to publish articles, methodical manuals and specialized books.

Department of Humanities

The majority of teachers of the department have different scientific degrees. During the sessions of the department the teaching programs and the projects of teachers are discussed, the themes of term papers and degree researches are confirmed. All the teachers of the department lead an active pedagogical and research activity. Scientific conferences are held under their supervision and with their direct participation.

Department of Natural Sciences

All the teachers of the department have scientific degrees. Besides theoretical lessons the teachers of the department organize practical lessons with students. The laboratory of natural sciences is equipped with modern technical appliances (slides, microscopes, posters), which enable the teachers to deliver practical lessons more deeply purposefully. The Department of Natural Sciences is also considered a center of scientific research were the teachers can do serious research. The teachers of the department publish articles and methodical manuals. The experienced teachers of the department use their professional skills and knowledge unsparingly for securing the progress and the scientific prestige of the university.

Department of Foreign Languages

According to the teaching programs of the University basic teaching of Foreign Languages is guaranteed at all faculties. Fluently knowing Russian, English, the students of the University can get acquainted with contemporary psychology by original textbooks. The students of “Urartu” University have taken part in a series of international scientific conferences (Sweden, Canada, Greece, Italy), having made brilliant reports. The scientific literature on psychology published in English and Russian, is available to all students of the University.
