Department of Psychology
The department is headed by Dr. Hrachya Hovhannisyan, professor of Urartu University.
The staff consists of many well-known and accomplished psychologists within Armenia. At department meetings the curriculum and teaching programs are discussed, and the themes of term papers and degree researches are confirmed. Special attention is paid to the work of the more junior staff of teachers, as they are encouraged to publish articles, methodology manuals and books. The entire staff organizes sessions of discussion on published articles, scientific conferences they’ve attended and new findings in the field of psychology

Department of Humanities
The head of the department is Mr. Martun Minasyan, director of state customs committee of the government of Republic of Armenia, custom service mayor, and professor of Urartu University.
The majority of teachers of this department has different degrees of science. During department meetings the teaching programs and the projects of teachers are discussed and the themes of term papers and degree researches are confirmed. All the teachers of the department lead active pedagogical and research activities. Scientific conferences are held as well under their supervision and with their direct participation.

Department of Natural Sciences
The head of the department is Dr. Rafael Harutyunyan, professor of Urartu University.
All the teachers of the department have degrees of science. Besides theoretical lessons, the professors of the department organize practical lessons with students. The laboratory of natural sciences is equipped with modern technical equipments, which enables the professors to deliver practical lessons more deeply and purposefully.
The Department of Natural Sciences is also considered a center of scientific researches where the professors conduct researches. The professors publish articles and methodical manuals. The experienced professors of the department use their professional skills and knowledge unsparingly for securing the progress and the scientific prestige of the university.

Department of Foreign Languages
The head of the department is Ms. Shoghik Mirzoyan, instructor of Urartu University. According to the teaching programs of the University basic knowledge of foreign languages is essential in the field. By the students’ knowledge of Russian, English and French, they can use original psychology textbooks written in those languages. The students of Urartu University have taken part in a series of international scientific conferences (Sweden, Canada, Greece, Italy), and have written excellent presentations. The scientific literature on psychology published in English and Russian is available to all students of the University.
